Serving our wider community is an important way we live out our Christian faith. At St. Mary’s, there is something for every one to contribute to make our world a better place.
The Table is an organization that feeds Napa’s most vulnerable residents in a respectful and welcoming environment. St. Mary’s is responsible for staffing The Table on the third Monday of the month. Many parishioners cook, donate food, prepare and serve the meals. If you’d like to get involved in this ministry, please contact us.
Members of St. Mary’s serve as board members or volunteers at the Napa Salvation Army, whether it’s the Turkey Roundup, Kettle Bell Ringing, Christmas Food & Toy Distribution, Shop with the Cops or staffing the Mobile Canteen when a Disaster occurs. The Salvation Army provides assistance to Napa County residents in need. For more information about how to get involved, please contact us.
Meals on Wheels
Meals on Wheels is a national program that serves a couple of hundred seniors a day in Napa. The meals are healthy and are delivered with a smile and a happy hello. This service is provided for those that are newly out of the hospital or are having a situation that prevents them from getting the food they need, on a daily basis. At St. Mary’s, this ministry is covered on Monday’s and Thursday’s by St. Elizabeth Guild. If you are interested in helping with this ministry, please contact us.
