Stephen Carpenter

The Reverend Canon Stephen M. Carpenter received his Master of Divinity from Seabury Western Seminary in 1979. A local “kid” and graduate of Napa High School, he returned to Napa in 1983 to become rector for St. Mary’s. Stephen is married to Fran and they have two children, Katie and Kyle and their beloved West Highland Terrier, Lola.

Stephen is looking forward to his retirement on November 2, 2017. Stephen, the Vestry and the Parish are happy to be spending this last year celebrating Stephen and Fran's 33 years at St. Mary's. The Reverend

John Morris

Father John Morris was ordained a priest at St. Mary’s on September 8, 2011. Prior to his ordination to the priesthood, John served our congregation for 19 years as a Vocational Deacon.

He has engineering degrees from the Naval Academy and Massachusetts Institute of Technology, completed theological studies at the School for Deacons and the Church Divinity School of the Pacific, and enjoys church history.

He has four children, ten grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Don Callison

Don Callison was ordained as a Vocational Deacon on August 8, 2015. Don works full time at the Veteran’s Home of California as a Budget Analyst. In addition, he volunteers in Chaplain Services, providing pastoral care to the members of the Home.

Don received his B.S. in Business from San José State University in 1990. He is a Navy veteran, having worked as technician in Naval Aviation.

Don lives in Napa with his beautiful wife, Wendy. His daughter, Hannah, is in college and his son, Ben, is in high school. His four-legged children include his German Shepherd, Maggie, and cat, Felix.
